GB ready to support SA Employers through upcoming change

There has been much discussion of the upcoming changes to the workers’ compensation legislation in South Australia which brings increased service standards and changes to service delivery including personalised claims management.

What does this all mean?

From 1 July 2015 we will deliver a service underpinned by Return to Work Specialists engaging with employers and their injured workers, predominately at the workplace. It is a proactive model and an approach which requires changes in the way we work together.

Gallagher Bassett has identified a personalised service model which will provide better return to work outcomes, enhance the employer and injured worker relationship and support the goal of decreasing the cost of workers’ compensation to South Australian businesses. Rollout will commence in February 2015 and be in place ready for the introduction of the new South Australian Return to Work Act on 1 July 2015.

Gallagher Bassett will communicate further about the changes before they occur and provide employers and their representative’s opportunity to learn more about the Legislation and Service Reforms and how they will support your business.

Gallagher Bassett looks forward to working with our partners and continuing to improve the workers’ compensation scheme for the benefit of South Australian employers and injured workers.

GB is running SA information sessions in Victoria in NSW to assist employers in those regions with South Australian operations.
