GB Employee picks up PIEF Award

Congratulations to GB’s Amanda Wallace on winning the 2016 Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) Awards in the category of Remote Communities.

The Excellence in Injury & Disability Management (Remote Communities) award specifically acknowledges the outstanding contribution made by those who manage and/or assist in the supporting of people with an injury or disability in a remote community.

Amanda received the award during the Personal Injury and Disability Management Conference in Sydney on 12 October 2016.

“I am really honoured to have won this award”, said Amanda.

It’s a great reflection on the whole Regional Return to Work Specialist Team in SA, and the face to face service that we all provide. It’s also a great reflection on the way Gallagher Bassett believes that all injured workers deserve the same personalised assistance, regardless of their location or situation”.

GB’s Executive General Manager – Workers’ Compensation, John McNamara was delighted to hear of Amanda’s win.

“GB is committed to providing support to customers in regional areas, and Amanda has gone above and beyond in providing support to her customers in those areas. Amanda is a very deserving winner, and we’re very proud of her achievements!”
