GB staff recognised for customer service and performance excellence by WorkSafe

Gallagher Bassett is proud to announce that our staff members have been successful in making it through to the finalist stage of four major categories at the 2015 WorkSafe Awards. These are:

  •  GB Claims Team 1 for Improving Client Performance
  • Gwenda Dargan (Senior Case Manager) for Excellence in Service Delivery
  • Lisa Cristaudo (Payments Practices Manager) for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual
  • Adam Farrell (Return to Work Specialist) for Outstanding New Starter.

GB Claims Team 1 was nominated for improving the performance of one of GB’s major clients. The team has been successful in partnering with the client to achieve a 24% decrease in average claims costs over a 12 month period and almost $2 million reduction in premium over a four year period.

Senior Case Manager Gwenda Dargan was nominated for Excellence in Service Delivery in recognition of the impact she has made on clients, combining her years of industry experience with her empathic and compassionate personality to provide exceptional service delivery.

Lisa Cristaudo has been working with GB since we commenced operations in Victoria in 2002. Throughout her many roles, Lisa’s primary contribution to GB and the scheme has been customer satisfaction. Lisa’s nomination recognises that her technical expertise and knowledge enables her to expertly assist injured workers and employers in the process of claims lodgement and receipt of reimbursement.

Nominated for Outstanding New Starter, Adam Farrell commenced as a Case Manager in late 2013 and quickly worked his way up to become a Return to Work Specialist. Over this time Adam has proved his commitment to providing excellent service and driving return to work results with his clients.

’I am absolutely delighted by the success of our employees who’ve made it through to the finalist stage of the awards. It really demonstrates the outstanding performance and customer service GB is committed to delivering for our clients,’ said Graeme Munro, General Manager, Victoria.

We wish Team 1, Gwenda, Lisa and Adam all the best when the winners are announced on October 8th.
