On Wednesday 27th April 2016, GB’s ‘Shave for a Cure’ Team was presented with a certificate by Annabel Lush from Leukaemia and Blood Cancer N.Z, for being one of the top 10 corporate fundraisers in the 2016 campaign.

Stephen Millham, who is a Client Manager at the Auckland office, organised the event at GB, with a total of seven employees raising nearly six thousand dollars by shaving their heads.

Shave for a Cure has so far raised nearly a million dollars this year, with over 1400 heads shorn to show solidarity with blood cancer patients – many of whom lose their hair as a result of life-saving treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
