What is the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers (WISE)?

If you are looking to recruit a new worker for your business, the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers (WISE) offers a 6 month financial incentive of up to $26,000 to assist people getting back to work after a work-related injury or illness.

Most employers are able to access the WISE incentive simply by offering ongoing work of 15 hours or more a week. Labour hire companies, employment agencies or group training organisations are not eligible for WISE.
