David Teall

David is an experienced financial executive with a strategic and operational focus. He is accomplished in using operational data to influence organisational decision making, identifying and implementing cost optimisation initiatives and has a proven track record of unlocking business value for companies in both Australia and overseas.

David joined GB in 2012 as Commercial Manager-Corporate and was appointed as the Commercial Manager for the General Insurance and Corporate Self Insurance product lines in 2015. In addition to providing operational commercial oversight and strategic support, David has overseen the management of procurement and vendor management processes, commercial property matters, tender pricing approvals, investment business case decisions and managed the due diligence process for multiple GB acquisitions. David has been responsible for the commercial aspects of several large successful bids for both government and corporate clients and leveraging this business and industry knowledge to lead the icare Treasury Managed Fund General Lines start up project in 2018.

Prior to joining GB, David spent several years in London working in a variety of financial and commercial roles for both British Telecom and FIS.

David now operates in the role of Chief Financial Officer.
